Wacky Birds

This lesson was only supposed to take one day.  But it was so fun, it took three.  My students really got into it.  It may have been the holidays.  Some of us celebrate Thanksgiving and others don’t, but everyone loved the idea of working on their bird in November.

We made our feathers using construction paper crayons.  Students had a lot of fun making their feathers, beaks, eyes, etc.  Some of them walk, some of them fly, but all are unique and super fun.
