Snoozing Snuggly First Graders

I love combining different ideas into one lesson. I am a true lover of mixed media!

In this lesson we did a lot:

  • drawing line design patterns on paper strips
  • weaving with paper
  • sewing into the paper with yarn and a yarn needel
  • learned how to draw a face using fractions
  • learned ow to draw a sleeping face
  • drew stuffed animals – or as one student put it “a stuffy”
  • drew patterns on a pillow
  • concentrate on details

The results are super cute and have been a hit in the school.
